#PatioPups

When I first came up with the idea of designing a website for a directory of dog friendly restaurant patios in the Richmond area, the name Patio Pups came into my mind and just kind of stuck. Creating our @Instagram profile and posting a picture using the hashtag #PatioPups and to see that we were the very first ones to use that hashtag. Now a little more than 3 years later more than 2,000 pictures have the hashtag #PatioPups. They come from everywhere too. We love looking at all the pictures and commenting on all the cute dogs chilling on patios. Knowing that people don’t just do the minimal of taking care of their dog’s, but to actually see people incorporate their dog’s into their daily leisure activities and lives brings a lot of happiness to use.
